Dave was
born and raised in Miami County, Indiana. His parents, who are
both professional photographers, started their photography
business the year Dave was born. In 1981, Dave married Donna and
the following year they purchased DeBruler Studio, Inc. To
date, DeBruler Studio, Inc. is the oldest portrait
studio in Indiana. Dave and Donna Fincher have two
children; Jason is 27 and Sara who is 25.
Dave is an ordained elder in the First Presbyterian Church and
serves on several church committees. Dave is the President of the Rochester Girls Softball
League and a board member of the Brent Blacketor Memorial Sports Complex. Dave is also the
founder of the Greater Fulton County Young Achievers, Inc., which is a local chapter of the
International Leadership Network. The ILN is an organization that locally and nationally
showcases the achievements of young people.
Dave is the only Certified
Professional Photographer serving Fulton County. Dave is a member of the Professional Photographers of America
and the International Professional Photographer Guild. In 1993 the IPPG named Dave the
Photographer of the year and in 2002 honored Dave with their highest honor, the Ramsey
Award. Dave is also a member of the Professional Photographers of Indiana.
Dave is one of 150 photographers from around the world to have an album of his work on
permanent display at the International Photography Hall of Fame and
Museum. |
